ELD compliance and GPS tracking for trucking companies

M2M Hub Solutions is an FMCSA-registered ELD provider. We supply the logging device, trailer GPS trackers and the web portal that ties them together, and we work with owner-operators and fleets across the United States from Willowbrook, Illinois.

What we provide

Electronic logging

Hours of service are recorded from the vehicle. Drivers certify their logs in the app and send them to an inspector by email or through the FMCSA web service.

  • Registered with the FMCSA, meets 49 CFR Part 395
  • Log edits keep the original record and the reason
  • Malfunction and diagnostic events handled as required

GPS tracking

Trucks are tracked through the ELD. Trailers and equipment are tracked with wired or solar units. Everything shows on one map with history, landmarks and alerts.

  • Location history per vehicle and trailer
  • Landmark and geofence entry and exit alerts
  • Dormant asset report for trailers that have not moved

Reports and inspections

The portal produces the paperwork a carrier needs without re-entering data: IFTA mileage by state, inspection reports from the driver app and scheduled email reports.

  • IFTA report by quarter, CSV and PDF
  • Pre-trip and post-trip DVIR with defects
  • Maintenance reminders by date or mileage

The web portal

Dispatch, safety and accounting use the same portal. The pages below are taken from a working account.

Daily log for one driver with the status graph and event list

Driver list with assigned vehicles

Hardware and driver app

The ELD plugs into the truck's diagnostic port and connects to the driver's Android phone or tablet over Bluetooth. The app records duty status, inspections and roadside transfers, and keeps working when there is no signal.

Trailer trackers are either wired to the trailer or solar powered. They report on their own and appear on the same map as the trucks.

Questions

Is the ELD registered with the FMCSA?

Yes. M2M Hub Solutions is a registered ELD provider on the FMCSA list, and the device meets the technical requirements in 49 CFR Part 395, including roadside transfer by web service and email, malfunction handling and an edit audit trail.

Can I use it with one truck?

Yes. Most of our customers are owner-operators and small fleets. Pricing is per truck.

How long does installation take?

The device plugs into the diagnostic port and pairs with the app over Bluetooth. Drivers are usually logging within a few minutes, and we help with the first setup over the phone.

Can I track trailers that have no ELD?

Yes. Wired and solar trackers report into the same account, with geofence alerts, dormancy reports and trailer to truck pairing.

What happens if the ELD loses connection?

The app keeps recording and syncs when the connection returns. For IFTA, miles driven while the device was offline are filled in from odometer readings.
